Orlando Higginbottom claims not to have listened to an album from start to finish since the age of 18. The fact that this is surprising suggests, perhaps, that the rockist tendency remains strong, even when thinking about dance producers. Either way, the Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs man has made some excellent selections for the latest edition of Red Bull Music Academy‘s ever-impressive Headphone Highlights series, which are interspersed with interview clips from the man himself. Tracklist below.
This week also saw the relaunch of RBMA Radio. There’s a wealth of interviews, mixes, and live sets to be found over on rbmaradio.com. It’s getting on a bit now, but James Holden’s Fireside Chat comes particularly highly recommended.
