Listen to Amanda Palmer and Jherek Bischoff's David Bowie tribute EP
Amanda Palmer and Jherek Bischoff are releasing an EP of David Bowie covers in tribute to the legendary artist.
The first taste is a new version of "Blackstar" - the title track from Bowie's final studio record, released only days before his death - featuring Anna Calvi.
John Cameron Mitchell ("Heroes", "Helden") and Neil Gaiman ("Space Oddity") also contribute to the EP, which was financed through Patreon. The EP costs a dollar, with most of the proceeds being donated to cancer research at Tufts Medical Center.
Palmer and Bischoff aren't the only ones with recorded tributes to Bowie - Sun Kil Moon's Mark Kozelek and Faith No More's Mike Patton have joined forces too.
Strung Out In Heaven is self-released via Bandcamp on 5 February.
