Following on from their Love Forever EP that saw in 2012 in fine form at the start of the year, The Mary Onettes continue to work with Dan Lissvik in the production seat on ‘Evil Coast’ – the first track to be lifted from their third album proper Hit The Waves, due out via Labrador on March 12.
Akin to the brilliantly titled ‘A Broken Heart Is A Brilliant Start’, Lissvik takes The Mary Onettes solemn eighties inspired noir pop of yore and reinvigorates with a delicate balearic breeze.
