Brighton act The Magic Gang relish in downbeat slacker-pop with latest track "Alright".
After the soaring blissed out refrains of debut single "No Fun," The Magic Gang have unveiled their more sentimental side with new track "Alright." Baggy rhythms craft an air of apathy, mellow refrains and echoing vocals constructing a melancholy that proves wholly addictive. "I like to get it wrong from time to time" the chorus resounds, "but I think we're getting on so well." From the strength of this alone, The Magic Gang seem to be doing just fine.
"Alright" is the B-side to debut single "No Fun", set for release via Telharmonium Records on 16 April.
