Listen: The Child of Lov – Fly
The neo-soul revivalist, combining an eccentric psychedelic feel meets seapunk taste, The Child of Lov, debuts a new single of his forthcoming self-titled LP.
Like a modern day witch doctor, evoking the wild side in us all, shaking free our inhibitions and forcing our carefree soul to rise from it’s darkened slumber. Entranced by midi rhythms of some distant worldly persuasion, we groove along to twinkling, vintage key notes, howling husky croons, and brass band aesthetics, proving to onlookers, black magic is more than just a wives tale.
The Child of Lov’s debut s/t release is out 6th May in the UK on Double Six Records and 7th May in the US on Domino Records.
