Listen: The Away Days - "Best Rebellious" [Premiere]
Turkish dream-pop outfit The Away Days are streaming their new single, the hook-laced "Best Rebellious".
The track has a few twangs of melodic Britpop and psychedelic '60s, albeit slathered with the sticky glaze of shoegazer pop.
Singer/guitarist Oguz Can Ozen has also spoken about the creation of the track:
“I wrote the song by myself over a night. And after the sun had risen, I listened over and over again. Than I realised that we're starting to do something real. My band mates thought the same. Then I also decided to mix it by myself to make it's sound the way we want it.”
