Listen: Snasen - "Bell Tape" [Premiere]
Norwegian avante-garde techno producer Snasen is showing off his forthcoming EP's opener "Bell Tape", exclusively on Best Fit.
The Grok EP - the title taken from Robert A. Heinlein's Stranger In A Strange Land - is out 17 February on Sellout!. A full LP is expected February 2015.
Speaking about the track, Snasen explained:
"Bell Tape is just that - an old bell I had lying around the studio sampled with something called a Phonogene - a eurorack module that kinda emulates a tape recorder . You can speed it up or down or backwards and cut things into oblivion. It´s just me dicking around with it for days on end until this woozy thing came out. It just sounds really animated and it has this slimy low end chasing its tail."
Snasen will perform 6 December at The Lexington alongside Vessels.
