Sabella's debut track "Loving Like This" could be the song of the summer
Give a big, warm welcome to Sabella, the latest member of the Best Fit Recordings family.
The 19-year-old Somerset native has unveiled "Loving Like This", her debut track. Punctuated by misty '80s beats and sensual saxophone vibes, the low-key pop is addictive, blissed-out gorgeousness, and provides a strong starting point.
Her lyrics are inspired by the literature she loves, and as a keen storyteller, her poetic and prosaic background allows her to brandish a unique narrative voice. On her first cut, she opts to move on from heartbreak, as opposed to lunging into despair - it's remarkably assured and hopeful.
A debut EP is expected "late Spring" via Best Fit Recordings.
You can watch Sabella make her live debut at this year's Great Escape festival, which takes place in Brighton from 14-16 May.
