Finnish alt-pop singer Ronya has lifted the lid on a new track called "Work Harder".
Speaking about the track, she says:
"’Work Harder’ is a reflection on my journey as an artist and an individual - but most importantly it’s a reminder to myself and to anyone working towards their goals and dreams: keep going no matter what - it’s only the beginning,”
Wielding glistening fingersnap lilts, tom-heavy drum ratatats and funk-lite Este Haim basslines, Ronya's new single on Cocoa Music is a riveting buffet of rhythms. In terms of melody, Ronya's gentle coo skims the surface of '80s-twanged synths and disco axes, never quite gelling to create a gorgeously dreamy quality.
