Listen: RBTS WIN - "Beach Child" [Premiere]
A stunning mix of electronics as careless and gentle as a summer breeze, RBTS WIN premiere the opening track “Beach Child” from their debut album, Palm Sunday Deluxe Edition.
Beginning with the sounds of the ocean crashing before descending into a relaxed electronic loop almost reminiscent of golden age hip-hop, “Beach Child” has everything a summer anthem could possibly offer. With hypnotic synths and obviously “chill-wave” influences, “Beach Child” is as sonically close as you can get to encapsulating the sounds of warm weather and carefree agendas. However, what makes this track most interesting is it’s more in line with bands like The Avalanches due to its more wide spread influences than most standard electro-pop.
“Beach Child” is taken from the duo’s forthcoming LP, Palm Sunday Deluxe Edition, out on 20 May.
