Building on the underground success he achieved with The Mixtape, Rat Boy has unleashed his debut single online.
An anthem for the down on luck and out of dosh, Jordan Cardy takes his worries and lets them out in a stream of consciousness that soars with upbeat refrains that lift out of the pit of despair. "Is it right or is it wrong?" he questions, but honestly, does that really matter? Pertinent though the problems may be, with music this infectious there's always something to keep smiling about.
"Sign On" is set for release via Hometown Records on 1 June.
