Seattle synth maestro Pillar Point’s real identity is still under wraps, but there are photos, a location and various active social media outlets, so sleuth the internet at will.
But all you really need to know is that his recently released ‘Diamond Mine’ 7” features a b-side even more engaging than the titular single. Where ‘Diamond Mine’ could easily have been a lost track from Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, Pillar Point gets into more Washed Out territory on ‘Dreamin’’. To quote the man himself, it’s all like a summer dream, and that sounds about right.
