Brooklyn brother/sister duo Paperwhite reveal their latest track, “Got Me Goin.” It’s a delightful piece of soothing pop music.
Pop. Synthesizer. New Wave. Brooklyn. LA. These are merely tags on Paperwhite’s soundcloud page, but they could easily double as a succinctly no-nonsense version of a band bio.
The track’s penchant for anti-climactic steadiness pays off interestingly, giving listeners the vertigo-like experience of witnessing a very strict, and thus quite peaceful, pop pendulum. So, yes: Pop. Synthesizer. New Wave. Brooklyn. LA. On repeat.
