Sculpting quirky pop pieces with impressive depth, Liverpool buzz band Ninetails unveil new track “Radiant Hex”: a lush wave of cinematic sounds and vocal flicks.
Lifted from upcoming EP Quiet Confidence, it’s one slinky slice of smooth sax and subtle bass, coated with a beautiful glossy reverb. It boasts some pretty damn brilliant reverse-tape effects and soul trills, and all works in perfect harmony thanks to MPG’s Mastering Engineer of the Year, Matt Colton.
Frankly, it renders the upcoming EP on the scale as pant-wettingly exciting; and with tracks like these, Ninetails deserve to be displaying much more than “quiet confidence”.
