Ireland's Jack Colleran, AKA MMOTHS, has been hard at work since releasing lauded EPs in 2012 and 2013, but now he's gearing up for the release of the fruits of that hard graft: his debut full-length.
"Yago" is another cut - along with "Santo" - preceding the LP's release, presumably scheduled for sometime next year.
It's an electronica charmer with fizzing percussion and wild, feral vocal work; there's a ritualistic nature to the hypnotic skitters, but there's also a clarity afforded by the melodies and harmonies that Colleran weaves.
Colleran released a statement ahead of the track dropping:
“I’ve spent the past twelve months writing this album yago and santo were both written during that time although they aren’t a representation of the record itself, they come from the same place in a way they’re a sign of whats to come.”
