Los Angeles quartet Milo Greene - self-described as "cinematic pop" - have uncoiled the taut sweetness of "Lie To Me".
It's flecked with big '80s pop moments - think thundering drums, Lion King backing vox and gigantic guitar riffs - and it will sink into your skull. It's jacuzzi-bubble frothy, with chunky singalong moments, and there's every chance that you'll be singing it as you try to get to sleep.
Milo Greene's second long-player, CONTROL, is due out in January on Atlantic.
