Yum. Smooth as…butter, Black Butter that is. The latest signee to the always reliable Black Butter Records, Lulu James just released her latest single that will be on repeat until we break the player. Wobbling echoes pierce and draw blood beneath a foundation of enigmatic vocal arrangements that could only be conjured up by the Heavens themselves. The dichotomy of heavy electronic beats and creaks courtesy of Hostage and Kidnap Kid with the angelic wails of a songstress we’ve been begging to hear more from collide on this epic track that just made 2012 that little bit better in just under four minutes.
‘Be Safe’ drops 19 November via Black Butter Records. Stay tuned.
