Listen: Leon Bridges - "Coming Home"
'60s pop singer-songwriter Leon Bridges is having a whirlwind few months, and to cap it all off, he's released a new version of Soundcloud hit "Coming Home".
Fond of dabbling in the rhythm and blues noises of half a century ago, the Fort Worth native went from "coffeehouses to a major-label record deal in less than six months", and has re-recorded his biggest tune to date for a single release proper. The new edition features guitarist Austin Jenkins and drummer Josh Block of White Denim.
Bridge's debut single on new label Columbia is available now.
As well as a few shows in the US, Bridges is also set to head to London's The Lexington on 2 March - ticket details and US dates can be found here.
