Listen: Last Lynx - "Get Up" [Premiere]
Stockholm's indie-pop fivesome Last Lynx have unveiled "Get Up", a fresh track from their recent Rifts EP.
The band have already showcased "Lacuna" and "Curtains", and this latest cut proves that the outfit are lunging from strength to strength. It's a woozy summer-lethargy slab of guitar pop, with duelling vocal lines and gargantuan synth melodies that''ll burrow deep inside your brain. It's another example of their tip-top talent.
"Get Up" will be one of six tracks that feature on the band's Rifts EP. Fredric Lindblom of the quintet explains the release;
“All the songs that ended up on the EP were written in a short period of time that gave them a certain sense of connection and theme. It wasn’t something we discussed or decided on but I guess that the song writing just coincided with a period in our lives when we were going through very similar emotions and were looping the same thoughts.”
