When a producer reinterprets their own tune, it’s always an interesting feat. Here producer, Lapalux explores an ‘alternate’ version of the track, ‘Swallowing Smoke’, off his forthcoming Brainfeeder release.

With promo copies being distributed a few weeks back, we’ve already had the pleasure of hearing Lapalux’s incredible Nostalchic LP, easily choosing ‘Swallowing Smoke’ as a stand out. The rework peels back delicate chords and fragmented samples, wrapping them in a breathy, gossamear veil, and delving even deeper into the murky tenderness that the young producer has come to be known for.
