“Anything deep, less is more” explains KAASI on his social media profiles, and these two simple sentiments align very neatly with his latest heady, late-night cut.
Bringing to mind the likes of Tourist and serial remixer Cyril Hahn, the London deep-house producer signaled his intent when he appeared alongside TÂCHES with “Heartbeats” this time last year. This new release embodies everything that makes the genre so devilishly moreish: thick cascading synth pads roll beneath the glitching vocal sample and clicking beat, while busy arcade game electronics contrast its smooth ebbs and flows.
