Listen: Julia Vero - "How Does It Feel? (Gabriel Gassi remix)" [Premiere]
Stockholm-based Julia Vero - who bounded on the scene with "Hollow" last year - is set to release her new single "How Does It Feel?" on 31 October. You can listen to the Gabriel Gissi rework ahead of that, exclusively on Best Fit.
It's a stomping cut, flavoured with '80s disco and pop-rock gumption. Vero clearly has a talent for huge hooks, and doesn't falter here - you'll need a neurosurgeon to dislodge it from your head. Gissi's dab hand sculpts it for club environments. Expect king-size beats and a strident pulse to shake your hips to.
Gassi has explained his take:
”I wanted, as always when I do a remix, to alternate the accord progressions and totally dress the song in a new suit. I have also always fancied flashy 80’s costumes.”
