Listen: James Blake & Bon Iver – Fall Creek Boys Choir
Having strongly suggested last week via twitter that they had been working on something called ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir’ together, James Blake and Bon Iver main man Justin Vernon have revealed the fruits of their collaboration. Apparently stemming from a chance meeting at this year’s SXSW, their new track entitled ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir’ was formed in the spring over email and is available to listen to below having just been premiered by Huw Stephens on Radio 1.
A partnership between two truly unique and stunning talents, the resulting track was bound to be beautiful. A warm, rich melting pot of both artist’s characteristic musical traits ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir’ features Justin Vernon’s soaring vocals while James Blake provides the down-tempo dub step inspired melody, the pulsating bass swells and the soft yet glitchy beats.
