Listen: Ja Ja Ja's October Mixtape
Hot on the heels of a superb season opener last month featuring Sandra Kolstad, Phantom and The White Album, London’s finest Nordic club night Ja Ja Ja today reveals an excellent mix tape featuring the three acts carefully selected to play the October edition of the showcase.
Celebrated for bringing the finest in new Nordic sounds to London, The Line of Best Fit’s sister site and night Ja Ja Ja made a hugely successful return in September following a summer break, and has now selected these three great acts to head up its second edition of the season.
Mikhael Paskalev
Hailing from the musical hub that is Oslo, and hotly tipped thanks to his raucous blend of sultry vocals, guitar led melodic musings and full on good times, troubadour Mikhael Paskalev is one of Norway’s most touted new acts.

Ólöf Arnalds
Having made a name for herself back in 2007 with the release of her debut album Við og Við via One Little Indian, Icelander Ólöf Arnalds is set to bring her hauntingly beautiful vocals and multi-instrumental talents back to the London stage.

The New Tigers
As buoyant and energetic as they are pensive and gentle, Finland’s The New Tigers cover all bases with their self crafted brand of fuzzed out rock. The band are soon to release their debut album, so get a feel for what they do by checking out their track ‘Toffee’ below.
