Listen: Ja Ja Ja reveals its November Mixtape
Ja Ja Ja, our darling sister site and night is set to return on Thursday 29 November for a showcase which will not only be celebrating the best new Nordic sounds, but also the night’s third birthday! To help us toast this special occasion, Denmark’s MØ, Finland’s Sin Cos Tan and Norwegians HighasaKite will all be winging their way to London to perform. Find out more about the specially selected artists below, and hear what’s in store by listening to the mix tape that the Ja Ja Ja folks have very kindly put together for our aural pleasure.
MØ
Copenhagen’s Karen Marie Ørsted, also known as MØ, had only released two tracks online before becoming the talk of the town. Mixing silky smooth vocals with R’n’B swagger, irresistible catchiness with electro leanings, MØ’s understatedly cool style will be the perfect way to lead the birthday procession.
Sin Cos Tan
The uniting of two of our favourite Finnish musical forces has led to the creation of Sin Cos Tan, an electronic duo featuring the talents of legendary DJ/producer Jori Hulkkonen and Villa Nah’s Juho Paalosmaa. The result? A masterful, laid back yet heady culmination of two of Finland’s most exciting music minds.

HighasaKite
Releasing their debut album All That Floats Will Rain through Norway’s Riot Factory earlier this year, Oslo’s HighasaKite have already succeeded in wooing audiences in their homeland as well as at Iceland Airwaves and Berlin Music Week. Their engrossing live show overflows with endearing energy and passion, with singer Ingrid Helene’s vocals shifting from delicate and lovelorn to powerful and majestic within seconds. 2013′s sure to be a big year for this collective, so make sure to catch them now.

Ja Ja Ja will take place on Thursday 29 November at its home of The Lexington, featuring performances from Denmark’s MØ, Finland’s Sin Cos Tan and Norway’s Highasakite.
