Earlier this year, New Yorker Hannah Cohen captivated listeners when she released her debut album, Child Bride. Stand-out single ‘The Crying Game‘ in particular grabbed the attention of fans and fellow musicians alike, inspiring a remix from Active Child back in March of a track which has now been taken under the wing of New York producer Yuka Honda/

Founder of Cibo Matto, Yuka Honda, a New York based Japanese artist is a celebrated musician, producer and creator, having most recently produced Martha Wainwright’s new record Come Home To Mama. But today, we find her in the remixing seat adding a playful undertone to this heartfelt ballad, pairing Cohen’s distinctive vocal with sparse rhythms and select slices of off kilter melodies.
