This is what is sounds like when Four Tet is bored….fucking amazing. Never a dull moment in the world of electronic music, earlier this week Four Tet played guest host on Rinse.fm filling in for DJ Roska. In addition to playing his new cut, ‘For These Times’, off his forthcoming LP for Nonplus Records, Four Tet played a dope little track he’d been messing around with (not a remix!).
The new rework samples Grimes’ track ‘Skin’ and results in the Four Tet effect being sprinkled generously throughout Grimes’ whispy coo’s and perfectly placed keyboard strokes. Brilliant.
