Gonjasufi‘s forthcoming MU.ZZ.LE is a strange collection of songs. It has an unsettling duelling banjos feel to it, as if it’s the accompaniment to a midwestern road film in which horrible, unspecified peril is constantly on the horizon.

‘Feedin’ Birds’, the lead single from MU.ZZ.LE, is a pretty good microcosm of the record: moderately deranged but entirely charming, like a lullaby before some horrific murder.
