‘Seconds’, the skyscraping first single from Ghost Loft, alerted us to a burgeoning new talent in the world of smooth and softly brooding R&B.
The LA-based producer, aka Danny Choi, creeped up on us once again this week, dropping another lascivious, pulsating cut entitled ‘So High’. Featured on both his forthcoming EP and the Kitsune America 2 Compilation out 29 April; the track carries all the hallmarks of late 90′s/early 00′s slow jams by Maxwell and Donnell Jones with Choi laying icy vocals over wafts of swooning synths, choppy breaks and sprawling basslines. Clear a space in your diary because you’re guaranteed to get lost amongst these headswimming vibes.
