Israeli trio Garden City Movement formed earlier this year and new track, “Move On”, is a lush introduction to their world.
Taken from Entertainment EP, everything on the track is assured and confident whilse also showcasing the trio’s more reserved side. Where other tracks are more suited to the dancefloor (“Casa Mila”), “Move On” is one for those lonely, bitterly cold beach walks.
Vocals are used sparingly, but are beautifully integrated when done so. Nothing on the track is overdone, and this reduction works charmingly.
If there’s any more Israeli music out there as oustandingly beautiful as this, show yourself.
