Listen: Frida Sundemo – “Hanging By A Thread”
Continuing her steady ascent as one of the most talked about Swedish artists of the past 12 months, Stockholm’s Frida Sundemo has offered out a new song – the first from a forthcoming new (as yet untitled) EP that’s due for release this spring.
Where previous singles “For You, Love” and “A Million Years” soared with a widescreen romantic yearning, “Hanging By A Thread” is a more insular affair. Sundemo’s glacial vocal floats over delicate electronic textures whilst thoughtful, sympathetic production still manages to pull on the emotional strings.
Understated and extremely classy, Frida manages to come off as a very unique pop proposition amidst the ever growing torrent of electro flavoured Scandinavian female acts. Listen below.
