Aussie production collides as Perth’s Ta-ku treats us to a thundering, intuitive reworking of Flume’s ‘Left Alone’.
Adding playful, fidgeting vocal alterations and shuddering bass progressions to the Best Fit favourite’s work throws a whole new light on the track. The original ambience remains however, as Chet Faker’s vocal continues to simmer along amongst two intense, gun-cocking drops. Ta-Ku has turned one of Flume’s softer numbers into a fully-fledged dance-floor filler – dive in below.
