Listen: Febueder – “Alligator” [Premiere]
Ascot has never been a place synonymous with breaking new music, especially when it’s music so genre defying and interesting as Febueder’s.
A melting pot of influences, “Alligator” is the first track lifted from the group’s forthcoming debut EP Soap Carv – due for release November 25 through Tape Club Records.
A tonal exploration in texture, angular rhythms and distant vocals – it’s early days for Febueder, but if their playfulness and wide-eyed approach to making music continues, 2014 could see this young trio develop into the UK’s answer to Animal Collective.
Febueder open for Dive In tomorrow night (October 22) at Camden’s Barfly. Presented by MAMA and The Line Of Best Fit, tickets for the show are available here.
