No, it’s not the forgotten prequel to Bloc Party’s ‘Two More Years’. Instead, it’s a hyper-soft-rock track from Erika Spring – she of Au Revoir Simone fame.

’6 More Weeks’ begins wistfully, with Spring mourning her solitude in classic fashion, before breaking down about twenty seconds from the end into a defiant, moving-on-up ditty of the sort that might accompany the final scene of a ’90s high school movie, in which we see our heroine turning away from the school gates and walking out into the big wide world as the camera zooms out on a massive cherry picker. Roll credits.
