With fuzzed-out guitars and a steady drum beat, Brooklyn-based five-piece Eastern Hollows experiment with a classic shoegaze sound in “The Way You’ve Gone” that harkens back to Ride and The Stone Roses.
Travis DeVries and Martin Glazier’s hushed vocals add a layer of call-and-response intrigue to the shadowy mix. This is music for nighttime haunts and the dreamers who inhabit those spaces.
Eastern Hollows will release their self-titled LP on 19 May via London-based label Club AC30. Stream “The Way You’ve Gone” below.
