Listen: Dolores Haze - "The Haze"
Swedish quartet Dolores Haze kick up a fuss with riotous new single "The Haze".
With a do-it-yourself ideology, there's something universal about punk music. Bursting to life with infectious loud-as-you-can-play-them riffs and screeching vocals, "The Haze" takes this to the next level. Reigning back the tempo and distortion for a measured rhythm and sweetly soaring vocals, Dolores Haze create something entirely more ethereal.
Ricocheting back into impassioned screeches and resounding guitars, in the just over two minutes it takes to play the track, the band have showcased that not only do they know their strengths, but they know exactly how to play them. It won't be long before they have us all eating out the palm of their hands.
The Haze is the opening track from the band's upcoming Accidental EP, set for release via Woah Dad! on 8 April.
