Daniel Wilson, the 23-year-old Ypsilanti native, has been steadily wowing crowds with each successive bout of sound.
Fusing together jazz keys, country-western slide guitar, layers of post-rock fuzz and a hundred thousand tentacles of soul vox, all inter-noodling between each other, this is an anthem of the highest calibre that'll yank your heartstrings like a petulant toddler. The undisputed king of stadium R&B, Wilson is a force to take note of.

The Boy Who Cried Thunder EP is out 24 November.
