London quartet CYMBALS took some very deliberate strides towards their goal of dance pop domination with their relentlessly funky 2012 release ‘Like An Animal’. The CYMBALS glitter ball continues to whirl at typically frantic pace with their head swimming new single ‘The Natural Word’, set for release on 24 January via Tough Love.
The band risk walking the tightrope between too-twee electro dirge and intelligent floor filling bubbler but thanks to some effervescent synth loops, thick twangs of elastic sounding bass and of course, Jack Cleverly’s now customary manic trilling, they make it look like they could do it all again blindfolded.
