Bursting with cataclysmic vibrancy, Cheatahs revive the plaid-clad sound from overseas with single “Get Tight”.
The London based quartet’s explosive new song provides a taste of their forthcoming eponymous debut album with the track’s undulating vehemency and unrelenting ardour.
Dirty, distorted guitars churn over exhilarating bursts of lo-fi Byrds-esque melodies, which are delivered with a sense of urgency and vigour.
The four piece’s soaring riffs evoke a guitar-fuelled feeling of euphoria yet still manage to portray an angsty and ceaseless clamorous intensity; all of which occurs within the sonic sphere of swirling feedback.
Get Tight is released on 10 February via Wichita Recordings.
