Chicago vocalist Tink’s Winter’s Diary EP passed us by without so much as a faint ripple of interest in early-mid 2012, but if there’s one person who can make us sit up and take notice, it’s How To Dress Well.
Although Tom Krell’s freshly-uploaded version of ‘Can I’ is very much an unofficial collaboration, merely the Total Loss artist having some fun with his ‘favourite RnB song in a while’, the pair certainly hit it off with seamlessly cut together overdubs; Tink’s helium hollers muted by Krell’s sensitive candor. Just another day hunched over the MacBook huh?
