Stockholm's Cajsa Siik is streaming new track "Higher" ahead of the release of debut LP Contra, out 3 November.
Siik has worked with Tiger Lou’s producers Rolf Klinth and Calle Ekerstam on the track.
Full of staccato jabs, fret buzz and the pitter-patter of synth, "Higher" is bristling with stellar qualities. Siik's vocals delicately drift over the ever-so-slightly menacing backing, but when the chorus erupts, her passion and strength follow suit. It's understated angular anthem-pop with '80s rock twangs and mellifluous scandi-pop hooks.
Listen to "Higher" below.
Contra will be released 3 November through Siik Music/SpinnUp/Universal.
