Art-pop foursome Cairobi have unveiled a new track called "Please" ahead of their new EP's release.
Hailing from Austria, Italy, France, and Mexico, but now based in London, Cairobi demonstrate a worldly grasp of pop in all its forms. Likened to famed pop experimenters alt-J, Dutch Uncles, Animal Collective and The Flaming Lips, the band have gone from strength to strength lately, and the upcoming release of their Distant Fire EP will only expand upon that success.
Before that drops however, we've got "Please". More subdued that big number "Zoraide", it sees Cairobi juddering, jittering into oblivion; it's spaced-out, laden with echoes, and primed with off-kilter percussion.
Cairobi's Distant Fire EP is out 23 February via Week of Wonders.
The band are also playing London's The Stillery on 4 March.
