Caged Animals has already warmed us all up in anticipation of a new LP coming later this year with new track ‘Cindy + Me’ and this dance remix of that opening single is an added bonus.
Transforming it from alt-pop to work-out video dance music with hints of trance and house, producer Billy, adds a completely new dimension to the track located in a universe populated by glorious beaches.
The original is built, rather rigidly, on a razor sharp sample from Raymond Scott’s precursor to house music ‘Cindy Electronium’, and on this remix it’s fleshed out with tropical influences. Stream below along with a dub version as an added extra.
