NYC model and filmmaker pair, Cable, present their debut single, “Roxanne”. It tugs on your heartstrings like a beautifully drawn out, heart-rending whine.
“Roxanne” starts at your feet and builds like a wave. It’s got enough oomph to make you want to throw yourself around to its slow motion rhythms.
‘She’s calling/she’s calling/she’s calling your name’ resonates over deep blurry twangs of building guitar. We’re still undecided who the hell Roxanne is, but she sounds like some kind of gorgeous, blurry eyed nightmare.
If Roxanne’s calling, you’re gonna wanna answer.
