As well bringing you the new Oh! Canada compilation earlier today, we are pleased to bring you a stream of the first track from the forthcoming Bry Webb album.
It seems that Bry has been keeping himself busy of late: as well as the announcement of Constantines reunion shows and re-issues and contributing to Michael Feuerstack‘s Singer-Songer album, he has recorded a follow up to 2011′s Provider. The new album Free Will will be released on 20 May in Canada via Idée Fixe Records. New track “AM Blues” is driven forward by skittering drums, as Webb’s subtle, understated intonations hang in the balance between swooping steel and feedback squalls.
