Toronto-based ambient drone composer Black Walls presents the minimal and dark “Field Two”, premiering today on Best Fit.
The track looms forward at a glacial pace, swelling in its final moments into a wall of darkly shrouded majesty. The hushed, creeping intensity of Ken Reume’s vocal delivery evokes a vast yet claustrophobic atmosphere that Boduf Songs devotees will find hauntingly familiar.
“Field Two” sets the stage for the release of Black Walls’ second full-length album, Communion. This new LP follows 2012’s Acedia and will be released via Pleasense Records on 3 February.
