Bristol based producer Hyetal offers this spectral, bare bones take on Battlekat‘s ‘He Didn’t Want A Love Song’. Stripping away pretty much every element of the original bar Matilde’s ravaged croon, the track turns into a late night mood piece; a sense paranoia and menace lurking just around the corner.
Battlekat will play their first UK live show on The Line Of Best Fit’s stage at Swn Festival, Cardiff on October 23 with more dates due to be announced soon.
