Listen: Azure Blue - "Tragedy & Changes" [Premiere]
Azure Blue is back, premiering the first single from his upcoming album Beneath The Hill I Smell The Sea on Best Fit.
'Tragedy & Changes' is the first new track to emerge from Azure Blue (alias of Tobias Isaksson) since he hid himself in his Stockholm studio six months ago. Self-produced, this new material takes you to the very essence of the artist himself.
Against a dreamy backdrop of twinkling synths and delicate drones, with "Tragedy & Changes" Isaksson paints a dynamic picture of what it's like to fall head over heels. A sweet and gentle introduction, driven by a pulse racing drumbeat, grows into something altogether more intricate. Dense stuttering percussion and a searing solo take hold, transforming the track from blissed out pop into dark electro dance.
"Tragedy & Changes" will feature on Azure Blue's new album Beneath The Hill I Smell The Sea, expected to see release this spring.
