East Londoner Azekel emerged as one of R&B’s brightest new artists earlier this year and continues to formulate his own interesting sounds.
Our first introduction was the stop start love song ‘That Feeling’ back in January and new track ‘No Ordinary Love’ is something of a re-imagining of Sade’s song of the same name, however with a refocus in subject matter towards the bond between a father and son.
Azekel’s vocal chords crackle ever so slightly amid various in and out samples including a heartfelt rant from Will Smith.
Download the track below and expect an EP later in the summer.
