Fat Possum's recent signing American Wrestlers - the alias of an as-yet-unnamed Scottish-born, Missouri-based artist - has revealed his first single on his new label, called "I Can Do No Wrong".
Recalling the dry, organic warpedness of Oliver Wilde, with guitar shimmers and bouts of fuzzy warmth, the singer-songwriter creates a wonderfully poppy ditty. It's already garnered him comparisons to old Grandaddy or early Death Cab.
Listen to the track below.
"I Can Do No Wrong" will be available digitally and as a 7" on 26 January 2015 via Fat Possum.
